MY STORY
Hi! I'm Claire...
I began my photography career at age 12, winning a local competition at Poulton Photographic Society - a club that for me appeared to be for old men sharing holiday photos on a projector and talking in a different language of f-stops and light ratios.
It must have inspired me though as I ended up studying Photography and Teaching in Higher education and have been a lecturer/tutor ever since (nearly 20 years! Wow!)
I am absolutely fascinated by the psychology of Creativity and had a ball studying for my MA in Creative Thinking. I'm now building on that research in my PhD study looking at Creativity and Wellbeing.
A space to talk all things creative, explore the psychology of creativity, gain insights on what creative blocks are and how to overcome them, all the while having a giggle trying out lots of creativity inducing techniques and a variety of materials.
